Smiles for Life
- March through June, Ultradent donates all of the whitening materials.
- Your practice donates the time to professionally whiten a patient’s smile.
- 100% of the donation amount from the patient goes directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation to benefit charitable programs in your community, and around the world.
How Does It Work?
The patient comes to our office or any participating office for a quick and simple visit. At this time, molds of your teeth are taken to make some custom fitted trays that you wear at home at your convenience. This initial visit should take less than 30 minutes of your time. We give you everything you’ll need to be on your way to a beautifully, whiter smile in just days. Most people notice dramatic improvement in just 7-10 days time.
The Best Part
100% of the fee, which is a which is a nice savings from our regular fee, goes right to the kids. All the material has been donated by Discus Dental™ (the #1 whitening company in the US) and the dentists have all chipped in to cover the overhead. Your check or credit card is made out directly to “Smiles for Life.” No money goes to the dental offices. It all goes to the kids.
How Long Does It Last?
Most people find the results last between 1 – 2 years, depending on their diet. At that time, or any time, you can simply do a touch up.
Won’t you please join Dr. Gray in this wonderful program to “Touch” the lives of children everywhere and to help them “Smile for Life?”
Dentists and their patients helping kids to smile!
Smiles for Life is an event held beginning in March. Patients can get their teeth whitened for a reduced rate at participating dentists, and the proceeds are split between a local charity of the dentist's choice and helping children around the world.
Stony Hill Dental Care Offers Charitable Teeth Whitening to Brighten Smiles Locally, Worldwide
Bethel, CT - March 1, 2022 - Just one teeth whitening can brighten many smiles! This simple forward-thinking concept originated with the Crown Council, a prestigious group of leading-edge dentists around the world who are passionately dedicated to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer and serving their communities through charitable work. As a member of the Crown Council, Dr Walter Kostrzewsk and the Stony Hill TEAM is proud to help launch the Crown Council’s 25th annual Smiles for Life campaign, dentistry’s most successful charity that has profoundly lasting impacts on children’s health locally, nationally and internationally.
Smiles for Life’s three-way charitable partnership brings together dentist, patient and dental manufacturer in a most rewarding way that changes lives. When someone schedules a teeth whitening treatment with Crown Council dentist Dr Walter Kostrzewski between March 1 and June 30, Dr KAY’s TEAM donates THEIR time and expertise, while 100 percent of the whitening materials are generously donated by longstanding strategic partner Ultradent Products, Inc. Thus, patients are able to donate 100 percent of the cost of their teeth whitening directly to Smiles for Life, benefiting seriously ill, disabled and underprivileged children around the world.
Since its inception, the Smiles for Life campaign has collected more than $46 million. Half of the funds raised annually are donated to Crown Council members’ local charities of choice; Dr Walter Kostrzewski has selected Lee and Aidan McMahon Foundation as a local recipient. Over the years, Smiles for Life dentists have supported more than 800 local children’s charities. The remaining money goes to the Smiles for Life Foundation, which supports national and international oral health and other programs benefiting economically disadvantaged children across the world, including the Dominican Republic, Nepal, Bolivia, and Guatemala. Smiles for Life also maintains a strong longtime partnership with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, which supports Child Life Zones in Children’s Hospitals across the United States.
“We believe the Smiles for Life initiative is the largest charity of its kind in dentistry,” said Greg Anderson, director of the Crown Council. “The unique concept of whitening material being donated by Ultradent; Dr Kostrzewski contributing all of the time and experience necessary to complete the procedure and the patient being able to make a direct donation to Smiles for Life for the value of the whitening, has proven to be an extremely effective way to both whiten a smile and help a child smile for life.”
Smiles for Life offers an easy and rewarding way for members of the community to help make a real difference in a child’s life. Dr. Kostrzewski offers gift certificates for teeth whitening, making it easier than ever to give the gift of a new smile to friends and loved ones, while also giving hope to children in need.
Patients who want brighter teeth for themselves and happier smiles for children should contact Crown Council dentist Dr. Kostrzewski at www.StonyHillDental.com
