At Stony Hill Dental Care in Bethel, we believe Halloween should be about fun, not future dental problems. That’s why we’re excited to sponsor the annual Halloween Candy Buyback program—a win-win initiative that helps keep our children’s smiles healthy while supporting our brave troops overseas.

How It Works

Trade Candy for Cash & Support Our Heroes

Bring your unopened Halloween candy to our special buyback event and we’ll pay $1 per pound (up to 10 pounds) for all that sweet loot! But here’s the best part—all collected candy gets shipped directly to our troops and service members who are far from home during the holidays.

Event Details:

  • When: Monday after Halloween
  • Time: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Where: Stony Hill Dental Care, Bethel, CT
  • What to Bring: Unopened, uneaten Halloween candy

Bonus Activities:

  • Free toothbrushes and dental care goodies for all participants
  • Writing materials provided for kids who want to send letters to our troops
  • Sugar-free treats and healthy alternatives available

Why We Do This

As Dr. K says: “People always joke by saying, ‘Oh you must love Halloween because of all those cavities kids will get.’ I tell them quite seriously that the increase in childhood tooth decay is a national nightmare. However, I’m by no means trying to be the Halloween Grinch. It’s perfectly fine to let kids enjoy a few of their favorites—then we’ll send the rest to the troops.“
